We are an independent inspection company, founded in 1992 as "PETCOM INSPECTION L.T.D." and renewed in 1994 as, PETCOM INSPECTION INDEPENDENT SURVEYOR, when in Romania have been adopted new requirements to implement ASTM and ISO international standards for measuring liquid byproducts .Applying these measures has lead to new set of requirements regarding the activities of inspection companies. PETCOM I.I.S. has registered as a inspection company in Romania, with operational offices in all major cities in Romania & Rep. Moldova, and in the same time cooperating with similar companies in all European countries and in all Black Sea countries.

The acquired experience has allowed PETCOM I.I.S. to grow rapidly, from a local team of inspectors, based in Constanta, to the team today formed out of no less than 100 inspectors scattered in all the industrial cities of Romania, witch guarantees our clients professional and efficient services.
Our inspectors are professionally trained to work with technical equipment in: :
- Romania’s maritime harbours : Constanta, Agigea, Mangalia
- All the riverine harbours of the Danube : Orsova, Turnu severin, Turnu Magurele, Zimnicea, Giurgiu, Cernavoda, Braila, Galati, Tulcea.
